These terms cover the Bayaaz browser extension and this website, both provided by Feltlife Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. By installing Bayaaz you agree to them.
Your licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, revocable licence to install and use Bayaaz. You may use it for personal or commercial work. You may not resell it, redistribute a modified copy, or strip out its attribution and present it as your own.
What you keep is yours
Excerpts you save, files you export and cards you imprint belong entirely to you. We claim no rights over them and, since they never reach us, we hold no copy.
Copyright in the passages you save
Bayaaz is a tool for keeping quotations. The material you highlight generally belongs to whoever wrote it. Keeping a passage for your own reference, study or review is ordinarily fine; republishing substantial parts of someone else's work is not, and that responsibility is yours, not ours.
Price and availability
Bayaaz is currently free. We may introduce a paid tier with additional features in future; if we do, features you already have will not be moved behind a paywall. We may update, suspend or discontinue the extension, and we do not promise uninterrupted availability.
No warranty
Bayaaz is provided "as is". We have built it carefully, but we cannot guarantee that it is free of defects or that it will work with every website or every future version of Chrome. Keep your own backups of anything that matters to you.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Feltlife Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, arising from your use of Bayaaz. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
Changes
We may revise these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use Bayaaz after a change means you accept the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your own country.
